The NFD Force Extract tools are provided to all UK police forces without cost. The tool was commissioned and paid for by NPIA (now part of the Home Office) to simplify the process of sending internal force data to the NFD. The tool takes care of sending data from a SQL database over the network to the NFD, however each force will need to provide the data in their chosen RSBMS in the correct format.
